As part of their training, the Tourist Guide Learnerships visit towns to find Tourism information.
This information is then used to draw up a Tour plan to cost the tour.
After that they have to work out the commentary for the tour.
On the 7th of April the Learnerships visited Thabazimbi and Marekele National Park - It was their first visit to a National Park.
Sarah from Marekele were our host and Tourist Guide, and she informed all of us on the Fora and Fauna.
We also visited the mine area and saw the 6 ton rock (iron ore). The Boabab tree made an impression on us.
